CENTRE POMPIDOU - June 2009 to December 2010
This themed exhibition celebrates female art, whether in the fields of painting, scultpture, photography, design, architecture, video or cinema. It highlights women's position in the artistic pantheon, their leading role in defining the avant-garde and their contribution to new technologies. More than 500 works by 200 artists are exhibited in a space which has been specially designed for the occasion.
