PARIS, A RADIANT CITY

MUSEE DE CLUNY - Musee National du moyen age - until end of may

In the 13th century, Paris became the cultural capital of Europe. Its architecture is an essential element of its artistic and urban influence. The exhibition highlights the quality and historical importance of five buildings: Notre-Dame, The Sainte-Chapelle, the Church at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the refectory of Saint Martin des Champs, nad the ruins of the Chapel of the Virgin at Saint Germain en Laye. It also presents nearly sixty other buildings from the same period. Prestigious elements sculpted on edifices, linked to graphic representations, bring to life Paris in the 13th century.
