By 2025,75% of humankind will live in in towns and cities, occupying just 5% of the earth. this is one of the many challenges to which we will have to rise. This exhibition presents the geoscientific tools wich are used to analyse the distribution of the world's natural resources and to plan a way of using them responsibly and effectively. Specific solutions to the depletion of ressources and the destruction of natural environments are put forward: the production of new form of energy, decontamination of industrial sites, waste recovery and application of sustainable development principles to the urban environment.
