Porte de Versailles. A place to do business

Paris is not only a world-class vacation and holiday destination, but increasingly has become a destination of choice for those wishing to do business.

After all, France is centrally located in Western Europe, meaning it's accessible to a variety of European and international companies. The glamour and fun of the city also make it a "natural" when it comes to hosting business meetings.

Fortunately, businesses on a budget (think "start-up"), or really any business that values the bottom line, have options. For many, an affordable Paris apartment rental from an established company like www.mykeystoParis.com means substantial savings over a hotel, and often represents a space and "lifestyle" upgrade, as well. More space. A private kitchen and dining area for meals at home. And more money to spend while in Paris.

In a sign of Paris' steady growth as a center for business planning and development, Paris has continued to create and expand several commerce and meeting centers. Perhaps one of the most impressive of these is the Paris Porte de Versailles exhibition center.

Located just south of central Paris, near Orly airport, Porte de Versailles has no less than eight separate exhibition halls, with nearly a quarter of a million square meters. It is easily accessible from central Paris by train and metro.

Porte de Versailles is France's top exhibition center and ranks seventh in all of Europe. Each year, more than 200 conventions and exhibitions find their way here, hosting more than 6 million people.

Just some of the exhibitions held at the Paris Porte de Versailles exhibition center are WSN Développement ("Who's Next"), the Nautical Trade Show of Paris ("Salon Nautique de Paris"), and many others.

There are many Paris apartments available near this important area. But fortunately, if you're coming to Paris for an event held at the convention space, you aren't limited to finding somewhere to live in the immediate area. Two factors work strongly in your favor: first, the rather small geographic spread of central Paris. And secondly, the fact that Paris' metro and train system is one of the most developed in the world.

Feel free to look for an apartment anywhere in central Paris, and particularly on the Left Bank, south of the Seine. With all there is to see and experience in Paris, you'll find the choice pays dividends beyond the monetary. (Although chances are good you'll be saving a little pocket money, too.)

With a little planning, you'll quickly find a route that can whisk you from your temporary home to and from the exhibition space. This will leave you time in the evening or morning to find a café for a little reading, some dinner, and quite possibly even a show. And no trip to Paris would be complete without some sightseeing, fine dining and a walk along the Seine.

Living in central Paris means the ability the see and do all that Paris has to offer. And in the end, living life to its fullest and bringing a smile to the table is always good business.
