This exhibition, the first major collaboration between the Musée d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Palais de Tokyo, extends over the exhibition space both sites. Around forty French of France-based artists, born after 1978 and not yet widely exhibited were selected. This choice is the result of an exploration of the young French scene : Artists, independent curators, associations, arts centres and art schools. The principal selection criteria : renewing codes and forms and bodly standing out from the crowd.
