The Musée de l'Orangerie have come up with an original idea : delve into the family environment of the artists through their offspring. No-one can be better placed than these children, who have watched their famous relatives live and work, and often acted as models for them, to evoke a family atmosphere in which art history has shown little or no interest. From Renoir to Monet, from Picasso to Sabbagh, a voyage into the secret garden of the artist, punctuated with major works and previously unseen testimonies.
