For this first exhibition in France dedicated to Edvard Munch in twenty years, the Pinacothèque offers a new reading of the artist's work. A collection of 60 paintings and 40 graphic works illustrate the foundations of his artistic career and the development of his expressive style, notably integrating photographs and silent films into his body of work. The majority of the works present have come from private collections.
