Musée du Quai Branly - From 7 October 2009 to 24 January 2010
Between 350 and 450 exceptional items from Teotihuacan, the city on which Mexico was built, are brought together for this exhibition. 70% come from Mexican collections, the remaining 30% containing works from European collections and recent discoveries. They are presented theme-by-theme, helping visitors to understand the role of this ancient city in the Mesoamerican world, from a historical, anthropological and mythological point of view.
